Here in Llangollen there are many attractions and places to visit while you stay with us. Not only beautiful countryside but also historical sites, fun filled activities, relaxing walks and epic sights. Below is a small selection but please ask us when you stay where you can go.

Gorge Walking
Gorge walking in North Wales is an absolute blast! Picture this: you’re splashing through crystal-clear waters, navigating rocky paths, and soaking in some stunning scenery. It’s all about getting your adrenaline pumping while you tackle natural obstacles like slides, jumps and deep pools. Whether you're climbing over boulders or sliding down smooth rock slides, every step is an adventure. Plus, the backdrop of lush greenery and dramatic cliffs makes it even more epic. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, bond with friends, and maybe even channel your inner adventurer. Just don’t forget to bring your sense of humour—you're definitely going to get wet!

Open Canoe Aqueduct Tour
Try paddling across the UNESCO world heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in a Canadian canoe. We paddle for 4 km along the canal learning about the history and heritage of the Llangollen canal culminating in a crossing of the world famous site.

White Water River Bugs
This session is a great introduction to the world of bugging and whitewater. No experience needed but you do need to be able to swim. This session includes all safety equipment and instruction and will leave you in a spin.

Whitewater Rafting
Come and try Whitewater Rafting here in Llangollen. Running from our centre just below your accommodation this is a fun filled half day activity.
